Toa tsy miasa ny sehatra na rafitra efa najoro ho amin’ny fitoriana ny Filazantsara, raha ny fikorontana’ny fiainana no jerena. Ary raha miasa indray dia toa lany amin’ny fifampitsikerana no andaniam-potoana. Adino tanteraka ny fikatsahana an’Andriamanitra sy ny fametrahana Azy ho lohany amin’ny famahana ny olana mianjady.

Tsy tambo isaina anefa ireo porofo efa nasehon’Andriamanitra tamin’ny mpanompony maro, nanehoana fa misy Izy, mahefa, mahasitrana, mandamina. Variana mikaroka loatra ny olona, mapihatra ny lojikany fa tsy ny lojikan’Andriamanitra.

Fa katsaho aloha ny fanjakany sy ny fahamarinany, dia hanampy ho anareo izany rehetra izany. Matio 6:33

Ny fizarantsika amin’ny hafa sy ny manodidina antsika io hery sy fahefan’Andriamanitra dia mampitombo antsika. Izay mizara mitombo. Mitombo amin’ny fahalàlana tsara an’i Kristy ka mahazo hery hiatrehana ny zava-drehetra, amin’ny alàlan’ny fampitomboana ny finoana amin’ny alàlan’ny Fanahy Masina.

Ry Andriamanitra tsara indrindra ô ! Manatona Anao izahay noho ny herinao sy ny fahefanao izay avo indrindra. Tsy misy toa Anao, satria mahalàla ny zava-drehetra Ianao. Na ny lasanay na ny ankehitriny na ny hoavinay dia tsy misy tsy hainao. Entinay eo Aminao izahay rehetra efa nandray Anao ho Tompo sy Mpamonjy mba hanavao ny fanoloran-tenanay ka mba ho tonga ohatra eo amin’ny fiaraha-monina, hanampianay ny manodidina anay hahafantatra marina Anao. Ampio izahay tena hifankazatra Aminao, ka ho taim-boraka aminay ny zava-misy satria manana Anao, mahalàla ny zavatra rehetra. Ampianaro izahay hahay mikatsaka ny tavanao amin’ny antsipiriham-piainanay, ka hisehoan’ny Voninahitrao. Amen

Le peuple murmura, et cela déplut aux oreilles de l'Eternel. Nombres 11:1

Rien dans le récit historique de la vie du peuple d'Israël n'est inutile, tout a sa contrepartie spirituelle dans la vie de l'Eglise et du croyant. Le psalmiste dit que les murmures d'Israël étaient de la rébellion non seulement contre Moïse mais contre Dieu Lui-même, et la cause de Ses châtiments d'ordre matériel et spirituel.

Le but de l'ennemi, c'est d'user les saints; nous sommes impatients quand l'épreuve se prolonge; nous nous plaignons, nous murmurons. Cela déplaît aux oreilles de l'Éternel ... et cela plaît à l'ennemi!

Ici, le peuple se plaint de son travail. Avons-nous perdu tout élan pour l'activité qui nous est confiée comme devoir et privilège journalier, et qui est notre vocation même? Si oui, nous trouverons vite des raisons pour justifier nos plaintes, et des chrétiens peu affermis pour nous appuyer.

Mais l'Eternel entend les murmures "dans les tentes". Il sait de quoi il s'agit, et Il en est attristé. II S'étonne de ce que nous nous habituions si vite à nos privilèges. Quelles peuvent être ces plaintes? Au verset 6 du même chapitre, nous lisons: "Maintenant, notre âme est desséchée ... nos yeux ne voient que de la manne." Quel sacrilège! Le peuple osait parler ainsi de la manne, de ce don de Dieu, ce pain du ciel, ce miracle destiné à faire subsister et triompher un peuple qui lui-même devait être un miracle. Est-il étonnant que leur âme ait été desséchée? Si nous éprouvons cette sécheresse de l'âme, c'est peut-être parce que nous nous sommes habitués à toutes les grâces que Dieu nous a données!

Les murmures sont toujours provoqués par la vie propre, la chair qui réclame ses droits et qui sait en même temps si bien se dissimuler et tromper les autres.

Demandons pardon à Dieu; réparons nos torts envers les autres; efforçons-nous de défaire le mal fait par nos murmures; et souvenons-nous que la croix de Christ doit être vécue dans notre vie. Quand elle sera au centre de notre être, alors seulement nous connaîtrons la marche selon l'Esprit et non selon la chair.

Panning For Gold

The genuineness of your faith [is] much more precious than gold. 1 Peter 1:7 

Keep your eyes on Jesus so you don’t allow earthly riches to blind you to spiritual riches.

While on vacation in Alaska, we visited the El Dorado Gold Mine near Fairbanks. After a tour and demonstrations of mining techniques during Gold Rush days, we got to do a little panning for gold. Each person was given a pan and a bag of dirt and stones. After pouring the contents into the pan, we added water from a trough and swirled it around to stir up the silt and allow the gold, which is heavy, to sink to the bottom. Even though we had watched experts, we made little progress. The reason? Concerned about discarding something of value, we were unwilling to throw away worthless stones.

This reminded me of how possessions sometimes keep us from finding what is truly valuable. Jesus had an encounter with a rich man for whom this was true. His earthly wealth was more important to him than spiritual treasure (Luke 18:18-30). Jesus said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” (v.24).

Although money is not evil, it can prevent us from inheriting true riches if accumulating it is the goal of our lives. To hoard wealth is foolish, for it is genuine faith, not gold, that will sustain us through trials and result in praise, honor, and glory to God (1 Peter 1:7).

I’d rather have Jesus than silver or gold,

I’d rather be His than have riches untold;

I’d rather have Jesus than houses or lands,
