Tenin’I Jaona Mpanao Batisa izany izay nampitondrany ireo mpianany nirahiny ho any amin’I Jesoa raha nihidy tao am-pigadrana izy niandry ny didin’I Heroda Lehibe mikasika ny hahavelomany na tsia.
Araka ny maha-mpaminany an’I Jaona moa dia tsy maintsy mitondra ny hafatra madio avy amin’Andriamanitra izy na ho inona vokany na inona, eny na hiafara amin’ny fahafatesana aza. Tamin’izay indrindra izy no nododonin’ny fanahin’I Jehovah hanapositra ny fijangajangana mamoa fady izay nataon’ny mpanjaka Heroda niaraka tamin’I Herodiasy vadin-drahalahiny (Lioka 3:19). Efa nijery manodidina ve ianao ka nizaha ny asan’Andriamanitra izay manambara ny fisiany eo amin’ny fiainanao? Ny Ainao, ny fahavelomanao, ny fahasoavana maro izay mandalo ny fiainanao. Sao rehefa mafy ny ady dia lasa tsy misy dikany aminao intsony ireny fahagagana sy asan’Andriamanitra maro ireny ka tampina ny maso?

The Wooden Rule
The body is not one member but many.
1 Corinthians 12:14
There are no unimportant people in the body of Christ.
Legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden had an interesting rule for his teams. Whenever a player scored, he was to acknowledge the person on the team who had assisted. When he was coaching high school, one of his players asked, “Coach, won’t that take up too much time?” Wooden replied, “I’m not asking you to run over there and give him a big hug. A nod will do.”
To achieve victory on the basketball court, Wooden saw the importance of teaching his players that they were a team—not “just a bunch of independent operators.”Each person contributed to the success of everyone else.
That reminds me of the way the body of Christ should work. According to 1 Corinthians 12: 19-20, each of us is a separate part of one body. “If they were all one member, where would the body be? But . . . there are many members, yet one body.” Is the success of a pastor, a Bible study, or a church program based solely on one person’s accomplishments? How many people contribute to the smooth operation of a church, a Christian organization, a family?
Coach Wooden’s rule and 1 Corinthians 12 are both rooted in the principle of seeing our need for one another. Let’s use our gifts within the body of Christ to build up, strengthen, and help to carry out God’s purposes (vv.1-11).

Soyez lent à juger les autres, mais prompt à vous juger vous-même.
En dépit de tous mes efforts pour écrire clairement, il m'arrive par-fois de mal me faire comprendre. Je le regrette et je tente de m'améliorer. De temps à autre, par contre, des lecteurs sortent mes paroles de leur contexte ou me prêtent des propos qui n'ont rien à voir avec les miens. C'est contrariant de n'avoir aucun moyen de contrôler la manière dont les gens se servent des paroles une fois qu'elles sont publiées.
Cela me rappelle une offense beaucoup plus grave, celle de faire dire à Dieu des choses qu'il n'a pas dites. C'est ce que certains prophètes de l'époque de Jérémie ont fait. Ils ont prêté des propos à Dieu en prétendant qu'il avait dit des choses qu'ils voulaient croire être vraies mais que Dieu n'avait jamais dites. Le Seigneur a donc dit à son peuple : "N'écoutez pas les paroles des prophètes qui vous prophétisent ! [...] Ils disent les visions de leur coeur, et non ce qui vient de la bouche de l'Éternel" (Jé 23.16). Ensuite, il a prévenu le peuple qu'il oubliera ceux qui tordent ses paroles et qu'il les rejettera loin de sa face (v. 36,39).
Par contraste, l'apôtre Paul a pris soin de dire qu'il n'altérait pas la Parole de Dieu (2 Co 4.2). Il connaissait le danger de prêcher ses propres idées plutôt que celles de Dieu. Nous devons tous veiller à utiliser la Parole de Dieu aux fins de celui-ci, plutôt qu'à nos propres fins.
